Tourism

Welcome to Winnipeg Beach. Our friendly, vibrant community is located only 45 minutes north of Winnipeg on the shores of Lake Winnipeg. For over 100 years, families have come to enjoy our sandy beaches and beautiful scenery.

Whether it is water sports, walking and cycling or tennis, volleyball and fishing you are looking for, Winnipeg Beach has it all. The bays along the southwest of Lake Winnipeg also offer some of the best windsurfing and sailing opportunities in Western Canada. We also have several golf courses within minutes and a beautiful marina.

This year we celebrate our 13th year of live entertainment on our outdoor bandstand which uses beautiful Lake Winnipeg as a backdrop. Starting June 30th we feature a different live act every weekend right through Labour Day.

June 10th our annual Under the Boardwalk Car Show 'n Shine comes to town featuring some of the best classic vehicles in and around Manitoba and a special performance from the band Happy Daze. July 1st we have a fun filled Canada Day celebrations including a watermelon eating contest, family games and activities, Echo Park is on our outdoor stage and we finish off with a dazzling fireworks display. July 27-29 come and join us for our annual Boardwalk Days carnival featuring Wonder Shows, an outdoor craft & vendor market and of course, more fireworks.

If it's a tasty treat you are looking for, our local restaurants offer a varied selection with something for everyone from fries to fine dining.
