Live On The Bandstand
It was Canada Day in the year 2000. Mayor, council and a group of dedicated volunteers alongside friends and family celebrated not only the day, but the first usage of our glorious Bandstand. Since that day, the tradition continues. This summer's performance schedule begins June26th and continues until Sept 5th with returning favourites such as Kool Runnin's and Jimmy G & the Doo Wops plus exciting new performers to our town like Kimberly Dawn and Echo Park just to name a few. 2010 promises to be a year on the Bandstand you will always remember. The Town of Winnipeg Beach would love to provide the Bandstand for local performers looking to entertain on a free stage. Please contact us at (204)389-5126 or rec@winnipegbeach.ca if you or your group would be interested in performing on the Bandstand.
